3D Dental Kangaroo Self-Seal Sterilization Pouches, 2.75" x 9" is used for sterilizing medium to longer-length dental instruments, including periodontal scalers, curettes, hand instruments with longer shanks, and impression spatulas whose length requires more room than the smaller 2.25" x 4" pouch provides. The extended 9-inch length and 2.75-inch width give complete instrument coverage within the sealed pouch during the sterilization cycle for instruments falling between the smallest and standard Kangaroo sizes.
Each pack contains 200 pouches, pink in color to distinguish this size from the blue 2.25" x 4" format at a glance.
Dental offices ordering sterilization pouches from their supplier can buy this size specifically for scalers and curettes that wouldn't fit the smaller pouch, helping the sterilization coordinator quickly grab the correct size without reading labels on each pouch. Built-in internal and external Class 4 chemical indicators provide color-change verification that sterilization conditions were reached at both the pouch exterior and interior.
The self-sealing closure is designed to withstand the temperature and pressure conditions of the steam autoclave cycle without failing, maintaining pouch integrity from sealing through the sterilization cycle and storage until the pouch is opened. The medical-grade surgical paper allows steam to penetrate during the autoclave cycle, while the multi-layer fracture-free film provides a transparent viewing window and a clean, fiber-free peel path at the point of use.
A thumb notch on the opening edge gives the clinician or assistant an ergonomic grip for controlled peeling, and the lead-free, latex-free construction supports material safety in clinical use.
