DiaDent Dia-X Bond Universal, 5mL Bottle is used for bonding direct and indirect restorations across a range of restorative substrates with one universal adhesive system. The single-component bonding agent can be incorporated into self-etch, selective-etch, or total-etch protocols, giving restorative dentists flexibility to select the etching approach appropriate for the tooth structure and procedure, and it is indicated for resin composite restorations, resin-modified glass ionomer applications, core build-ups, resin cement procedures, indirect restorative bonding, tooth desensitization, and intraoral repair. Each bottle contains 5mL of adhesive, a single-component universal bonding agent containing 10-MDP as its functional adhesive monomer.

Dental offices ordering universal adhesives from their supplier can buy this bottle to bond enamel and dentin as well as restorative substrates including metal, zirconia, alumina, and glass ceramics, consolidating multiple bonding indications into one bottle rather than stocking separate adhesives for each substrate. The adhesive combines primer and bonding functions in a single formulation while allowing the clinician to choose among three etching strategies. In self-etch procedures, the adhesive is applied without a separate phosphoric-acid etch across all tooth surfaces. Selective-etch protocols allow enamel to be etched separately before adhesive application, while total-etch protocols incorporate etching of both enamel and dentin before bonding.

The 10-MDP functional monomer supports chemical interaction with tooth structure and restorative materials such as zirconia and alumina, and its hydrophilic character supports wetting of dental substrates, helping the adhesive spread across prepared surfaces before air thinning and light curing.
