Tokuyama OMNICHROMA FLOW Syringe is used for direct anterior and posterior restorations that require one-shade adaptation with flowable handling and precise syringe delivery. The material is suitable for Class I through Class V restorations, cavity bases or liners, and repair of porcelain or composite surfaces.
In a small Class III restoration or cervical Class V preparation, the flowable paste can be delivered directly through the metal dispensing tip to adapt closely to internal surfaces before light curing. Its opaque-white appearance before polymerization improves placement visibility, while the cured material develops its final optical match from surrounding tooth structure. The flowable format makes this variant especially useful when close adaptation and controlled access are priorities.
Each pack contains 1 syringe with 3 g, or 1.8 mL, of OMNICHROMA FLOW and 10 Tokuyama metal dispensing tips.
Dental offices ordering flowable universal composite from their supplier can buy this configuration for liners, small restorations, and cases requiring detailed restorative access, since the syringe-and-tip format supports both direct placement into the preparation and indirect placement after extrusion onto a mixing pad. The material can be placed in increments up to 2 mm during restorative build-up. OMNICHROMA FLOW uses Tokuyama's structural-color approach rather than added conventional shade pigments, allowing one restorative shade to interact optically with adjacent tooth structure.
The formulation is designed for high polishability, stain resistance, low wear, low abrasion, and low polymerization shrinkage while maintaining the flow characteristics needed for liners, small restorations, and detailed restorative access.
OMNICHROMA FLOW works by using its filler structure to reflect wavelengths from the surrounding tooth, producing color through structural interaction after curing. This mechanism allows the cured composite to blend across a broad range of natural tooth shades without selecting separate body shades for each case. For situations with substantial discoloration, staining, or insufficient backing tooth structure, an appropriate blocker layer can be used before OMNICHROMA FLOW to manage dark show-through.
The material is light cured after placement, then finished and polished using the selected restorative protocol. This 3 g syringe configuration is distinguished by its flowable viscosity, one-shade optical technology, direct metal-tip delivery, and broad restorative versatility for anterior, posterior, base, liner, and repair applications.
