Palmero Vacuum Clean Evacuation System Maintenance Tablets is used for ongoing weekly maintenance of dental evacuation lines, giving clinicians a time-released tablet that continuously cleans the suction lines to help maintain consistent vacuum performance. When a staff member makes the weekly round of operatories and needs a simple, repeatable step that keeps the high and low speed lines fresh between more intensive treatments, one tablet in each evacuation trap covers the operatory.
Each jar contains 45 individual time-released tablets, and each evacuation trap takes 1 tablet per week.
The tablet has a neutral 7 pH formulation that follows EPA guidelines for waterline management and is compatible with amalgam separator systems. It contains no bleach, chlorine, iodine, peroxide, or other oxidizers. For line cleaning from the tip to the trap, the same tablets can be dissolved into a concentrate, using 5 tablets in a 16 oz pre-mix dispenser filled with hot water.
The tablet is dropped into the evacuation trap near the chair, and the lid is replaced.
As it dissolves over the week, it cleans the lines continuously, which restores suction pressure and extends pump life. Because the formula has no oxidizers, it avoids the corrosion that oxidizers can cause on separator components and metal fittings. As a concentrate, 2 oz of the dissolved solution makes 1 gallon of evacuation line solution, and 1 quart of that solution is aspirated through the HVE and low speed lines of each operatory.
The result is a set of vacuum lines that stay fresh, clean, and deodorized, with the tablet working as a weekly maintenance step between intensive treatments.
