Premier Dental Triple Tray Impression Trays, Posterior are used for dual-arch impression procedures that capture the prepared arch, opposing arch, and bite registration at the same time. The posterior design is suited to one- or two-unit crown and bridge cases within a quadrant and can also support impressions for veneers, inlays, onlays, provisional restorations, and selected single-tooth implant restorations when a dual-arch technique is appropriate.

Triple Tray combines a shaped posterior tray with very thin, loose webbing that allows the patient to close with minimal interference. Each pack contains 48 disposable posterior trays. The tray body is manufactured from high-density polyethylene, while the central mesh is made from Cerex Nylon type 23. Dental offices ordering dual-arch impression trays from their supplier can buy this posterior format for one- or two-unit crown and bridge cases within a quadrant, since the plastic frame provides support around the posterior segment while the thin mesh carries impression material across the dual-arch design without creating a thick interocclusal barrier. The dual-arch design is built to carry, confine, and control impression material while recording the maxillary and mandibular arches together with the bite registration.

The mesh spans the two sides of the tray and supports the impression material before and after setting, and its thin, loose structure is designed to remain flexible as the patient closes, helping reduce distortion while the surrounding polyethylene frame maintains the posterior tray form. This design allows clinicians to capture the prepared tooth or teeth, opposing dentition, and occlusal relationship in one impression sequence rather than completing separate impression and bite-registration steps when the case is suitable for a dual-arch technique, streamlining chairside time during crown and bridge appointments.
