Riva Conditioner is a gentle polyacrylic acid solution formulated to partially remove smear layers of dentin and enamel, which effectively improves the adhesion of the glass ionomer cement to the tooth structure. Using a conditioning material before the application of glass ionomer cement restorations is a requirement.
