Sultan Genie VPS Impression Material, Heavy Body, Rapid Set is used for taking full-arch and quadrant prosthetic impressions as the tray material component in the dual-viscosity impression technique. The heavy body material is loaded into the impression tray and seated over the light body wash material injected around the prepared tooth surfaces and gingival margin, providing the rigid structural support that holds the light body in position against the prepared teeth during setting and defines the overall arch and tooth anatomy in the completed impression.
Each pack contains two 50mL cartridges, purple color-coded to identify the heavy body rapid set viscosity, with a tamper-evident seal providing instant visual confirmation at the impression tray setup that the correct viscosity and set time cartridge is loaded before dispensing.
Dental offices ordering VPS impression material from their supplier can buy this rapid set formulation for its reduced intraoral setting time, minimizing how long the patient must hold the tray in position during the impression procedure and supporting faster total appointment time. Mixing tips are included for the automix impression gun system, and the berry-flavored formulation supports patient comfort during the seating and setting period.
The heavy body viscosity provides the firm, dough-like consistency needed for manual loading into stock or custom impression trays and for the tray material to resist displacement during seating over the injected light body wash, maintaining the tray's position without slumping under seating pressure. The ultra hydrophilic chemistry gives the heavy body moisture-tolerant performance, allowing it to maintain intimate contact with the light body wash and tooth surfaces at the interface between the two materials during setting, even in the wet oral environment where saliva and tissue fluid may be present between the tray margins and the patient's arch.
This hydrophilic chemistry at both viscosity levels supports complete dimensional accuracy from the deepest sulcular detail captured by the light body through the full arch anatomy reproduced by the heavy body tray material.
