Tokuyama ESTECEM II Kit Universal is used for adhesive cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, adhesive bridges, cores, and posts made from ceramic, zirconia, metal, or resin-based restorative materials. The dual-cure resin cement system combines ESTECEM II Universal Paste with Tokuyama Universal Bond to support one coordinated pretreatment protocol across tooth structure and restorative substrates.

In an indirect crown or veneer procedure, the mixed universal adhesive is applied to both the preparation and restoration, air dried, and followed by automixed cement placement. The Universal cement shade provides a translucent dentin-toned option suited to anterior esthetic restorations and a broad range of routine cementation cases. Each kit contains 1 automix syringe with ESTECEM II Universal Paste A and B, 2.3 mL or 4.7 g each, Tokuyama Universal Bond A and B, 5 mL each, 25 fine disposable applicator brushes, 15 double-dimple mixing wells, 15 cement mixing tips, 5 Mini Mixing Tips S, and 5 matching nozzles. Dental offices ordering dual-cure resin cement from their supplier can buy this kit configuration to acquire the cement, bonding components, and application accessories needed for a coordinated indirect restorative workflow without adding separate substrate-specific primers.

The cement contains silica-zirconia filler at 74 wt% and 61 vol%. Its dual-cure chemistry supports light curing where access is available and self-curing where light transmission is limited. ESTECEM II works by pairing the hydrophobic resin cement with Tokuyama Universal Bond, which promotes adhesion to enamel, dentin, silica-based ceramics, zirconia, metals, and resin materials. Bond A and Bond B are mixed, applied, and air dried before the automixed cement is placed.

Excess cement can be tack cured for approximately 3 seconds for removal, followed by final light curing at accessible margins, while the material can also self-cure in approximately 8 minutes. The Universal shade is the kit-specific cement shade and is designed for broad esthetic integration. This system is distinguished by its dual-cure polymerization, multi-substrate bonding protocol, 74 wt% filler loading, automix delivery, and integrated universal adhesive system for direct control over cementation and restorative surface pretreatment.
